Beyond that, I opted for LED recessed pot lights – eight in total. Our builder waited until the outside was completely closed in and as much of the messy part was done as possible (tearing down stucco, etc.) We looked at LOTS of flooring options and eventually went with these gorgeous extra wide 9″ planks. All it took was the guts to turn our old covered porch into a useable room in our house. It sounds silly, but planning where your outlets will go is a key step to nailing a renovation! We also have shades going in that room to block the hot sun, but if it still gets too hot we might add another small unit to cool it better. If you are you will need to figure out a way to do so easily and quickly as you do not want be battling with your curtain everyday and night.I first used some very thin, strong string.
They have some pretty good priced ones on There was a time when I thought it would be a good idea to live with my father to have some help with my son. I love how it really makes the backyard a part of the house instead of a separate space.My husband and I are talking about redoing our floors and he really likes the look of dark wood floors. Depending on how elaborate you want to make the enclosed porch, you can get away with doing most, if not all, the labor yourself.
